ABOUT

As an elite goalkeeper, I quickly progressed from CAYSA D3 to the competitive MLS Next Homegrown league (MLS1). This journey has taught me invaluable lessons along the way. My unwavering passion for the game fuels my ambition in soccer. I constantly strive to improve my skills through dedicated training. My goal is to be the best version of myself both on and off the field.


My teammates call me Benny because my middle name is Benito, after my grandfather. I chose to brand myself as EL KEEPER because "E" stands for Eduardo and "L" stands for Luna. I picked a bull as my symbol because I see myself as unpredictable, and I want my opponents to approach me with caution.

I just started my freshman year of High School at but I plan to work hard to keep a good GPA. I’m currently enrolled at Sonny G. Academy, where I not only train but also receive invaluable support as I work towards completing my Texas Tech University K-12 curriculum.

I stand at five feet eight inches tall, tipping the scales at one hundred and forty-five pounds. At the vibrant age of fourteen, I'm excited to embrace all the adventures that come my way!

I have the privilege of attending school alongside some of the finest youth soccer players in my city. With the guidance of elite coaches, I push myself in training and dedicate myself to my studies with unwavering commitment.

Although I started my soccer journey in 2023, my dedication and hard work highlight my ambition to excel. Competing in leagues like the MLS Next Homegrown League, the MLS Next Academy League, and the Texas Alliance League (TX2/TX Next) has only intensified my passion for the game.

2024-2025



I was 14 years old at the end of the season.

  • Rostered on MLS NEXT Homegrown U14 Team.
    • Half season I was the only goalkeeper on the team.
    • Second half of season I was one of two goalkeepers on the team and was starter the majority of the time.


2023-2024



I was 13 years old at the end of the season.

  • Rostered on CAYSA D3 U14 Team.
    • I was the only goalkeeper on the team.

  • District Champs at South Texas Cup in Bronze Bracket.
  • State Champs at South Texas Invitational in Bronze Bracket.


2024 to current




This is an off-season 5v5 team that my family manages. We typically play on weekend tournaments.

    • Started 2025 Summer in 149th place nationwide and ended the summer in 1st place nation wide by 5v5 Soccer.
    • Ended 2025 Summer in 1st place in the state by 5v5 Soccer.

    • Champs in U14 at Ingleside's 5v5 on May 31, 2025.
    • Champs in U15 (played up) at Ingleside's 5v5 on May 31, 2025.

OFF sEASON tRAINING





On average, I take about four weeks off from training camps, games, or soccer each year but even during off times, a soccer ball size five always follows me. This usually consists of one week during Thanksgiving and three weeks in the summer. During those three summer weeks in the summer, I attend a faith-based overnight camp with my lifelong friends, while I spend the other two weeks on vacation with my family. Below are some of the camps and training programs I participate in during the off-season to help me stay in shape.
